A Look Back at 2017

It’s hard to believe that another year has flown by! Although it feels like the start of 2017 was just yesterday, we’ve been able to accomplish so much. This past year, the entire X2CRM team has been hard at work developing new capabilities and continually expanding X2CRM for all of our valued customers.

Introduction of Location Check-In

At the start of 2017, we pushed the boundaries of what CRM software is capable of by introducing location services. Users can utilize advanced Google mapping to check-in at any location and post updates to the activity feed using their laptop or mobile device. X2CRM users can unlock an entirely new level of productivity by using location services within X2Workflow to receive updates whenever they are near a contact. This powerful tool is constantly making it easier than ever to meet face-to-face with your customers and build business relationships.

New Board Member and Santa Cruz Office

2017 was a very exciting year for X2CRM as a company. We moved into a new building in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz and joined a number of new technology startups that are thriving in the area. David Buchanan also joined the X2CRM team as our newest board member. As the founder of Aurum Software (a CRM company before “CRM” was even a thing), his insight and experience has been a great addition to the X2CRM.

Launch of X2CRM Enterprise Edition on AWS and GCC

X2CRM Enterprise Edition was released this past year with 6.9 and came with a number of major changes. We released our new Enterprise Edition, which is exactly what it sound like – X2CRM developed specifically for enterprise businesses. We decided to release this edition with multiple deployment options on both AWS and GCC so that you had the power to choose exactly how to run X2CRM.

There are many new features that we are very excited to release for our Enterprise customers over the course of 2018, so keep up with X2CRM news posted on our blog and Twitter!

X2HubService

One of our biggest features also came out in 2017 – X2HubService. This social media and cloud artificial intelligence gateway connects X2CRM with dozens of third-party apps, such as GSuite, DocuSign, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twillio, Zapier, and much more. Most of the applications we choose to integrate X2HubService with comes from requests made by users just like yourself. X2HubService is just one of the examples of how committed we are to developing CRM software that your business will actually use.

Of course, all of these new features were designed and developed to help users like you make your business go faster. We just want to thank all of our Enterprise customers and Open Source power users for another great year. We can’t wait to show you what we have planned for 2018.

Cheers!
The Entire X2CRM Team
