X2CRM 6.5 Release Highlights | Open Source CRM

 

Today we would like to announce the availability of X2CRM version 6.5. The year 2016 was a transition year for X2Engine Inc. as we focused on creating the most powerful X2CRM release ever. In addition to working on 6.5 we also introduced a new product called X2HubServices a new cloud connector service which allows for a one stop connection to Google office, geo-location and mapping services. It also includes two factor SMS security and a number of new public cloud connectors we are actively developing. 

For 2017 we have also updated our product list to include new support subscriptions for X2CRM open source deployments, new X2VPS cloud products, including a new dedicated AWS server option. X2CRM Version 6.5 Update Highlights:

X2Workflow Check-in Location Marketing Automation

X2Workflow is a CRM Automation Designer that allows CRM Admins to track website visitors, capture web leads and create automated actions based on customer behaviors. X2Workflow is a clever and incredibly customizable business tool that places the power of X2CRM marketing, sales and service processes in the hands of customers, allowing them to fine tune their business and harness the abilities of the X2CRM platform.

New in this release is a “Check-in” X2Workflow Action. This new location workflow action allows users to stay updated with a Notification, Email, SMS, or Activity Feed post that displays which X2 users are nearby as well as Google Map directions to each user using criteria such as distance away or time since last X2 user action.

For example, when a customer opens an email, not only does X2CRM detect that the email was opened but also determines the location of the user and then notifies the closest X2CRM user and also sends the user directions to the customer’s address. When buyer attention spans are limited, being able to take advantage of location to create new customer interactions ensures that every opportunity is captured.

X2CRM Mobile Android and iOS Apps

X2CRM 6.5 introduces a number of new mobile application enhancements. X2CRM is fast becoming a primary tool for mobile users by allowing the full contact action history to be seen on mobile devices. New in version 6.5 is the ability to create audio notes, make video recording and the ability to attach the user’s location, or Check-in to account posts.

X2HubServices

Introducing a completely new cloud service for both CRM open source and is included free for X2VPS hosting customers. This new cloud connector service provides one stop connector for Gmail synchronization, Calendar Sync, SMS two factor authentication, interaction location detection, advanced Google mapping and additional social network and data enrichment services.

Marketing Campaign Management

New in this release is support for open email rates, click rate, and unsubscribe rate metrics for tracking campaign performance. Additionally, weblead form landing pages’ thank you text can now be customized in the weblead form designer.

Email Mail Server Connectors

With version 6.5, X2CRM includes full support for most all email servers to send out email correspondence and email campaigns. In addition to email open tracking, X2CRM also captures the location of the user when emails are open. This intelligence can then be used in X2Workflow to create marketing automation actions. X2CRM includes email server connectors for Gmail, Outlook, Office365, Exchange, Yahoo, Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mandrill, Postfix, Sendmail and many other mail servers.

User Location Check-ins with Google Mapping

New in 6.5 is support for X2 user check-ins. Users can now post location check-ins with photos and voice notes. Additionally user accounts can now be configured to require an SMS based two factor authentication token upon login. Included with user check-ins is a Google Map of users and their location histories. With this feature, managers can look at an X2CRM Google User map at any time and see the location of users and their statuses. This allows managers to know exactly what is going on in the field without having to contact users.

Email & Calendar Improvements

New in version 6.5 is support for multiple shared calendars, event invitations with location tracking and two way Google calendar synchronization.

Email Correspondence – X2CRM can now monitor users email inboxes and automatically attach customer emails to CRM records. Marketing workflows can then be triggered create automated responses and alerts. In addition to tracking, alerting and logging when customer emails are opened, users can now add workflow automation triggers to automate responses, alerts or activate other actions within X2Workflow. Emails sent from automated marketing workflows can now activate new workflows when emails are opened by prospects.
